What God Starts, He Finishes | Philippians 1:6

What if the greatest reason to celebrate what God has done is the confidence that He's not finished?

As we look back over another year at First Castroville, we see more than ministries, events, and accomplishments. We see lives being transformed, marriages strengthened, families encouraged, leaders developed, and people discovering the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

In Philippians 1:3–6, the apostle Paul reminds us that the God who began a good work is faithful to carry it on to completion. That promise gives us a reason to look back with gratitude, recognize what God is doing today, and look forward with tremendous hope.

In this special Year in Review message, Pastor Rodney Knous celebrates how God has been working through First Castroville, including:

- **Reframe Church** — Rediscovering what Jesus intended His church to be.
- **Shepherded by Design** — Building a church shaped by Scripture and faithfully shepherded.
- **re:generation** — Finding healing and freedom from hurts, habits, and struggles.
- **re|engage** — Strengthening marriages by bringing Jesus into everyday relationships.
- **Reframed Family** — Equipping parents to make discipleship part of everyday family life.
- **The Residency Program** — Investing in emerging leaders who will influence generations to come.

These aren't simply separate ministries. They are expressions of one shared calling: **Leading generations to reframe life in the image of Christ.**

But this message isn't only about celebrating the past. It's an invitation to consider your own place in God's ongoing work.

Where is Jesus inviting you to take your next step? What would change if He became increasingly central to your relationships, your family, your decisions, and your everyday life?

As we prepare for our next sermon series, *Jesus in Real Life*, we're inviting everyone to go beyond simply knowing about Jesus and discover what it means to truly know and follow Him.

Our confidence isn't in our plans, our programs, or our abilities. Our confidence is in the faithfulness of God.

**He started the work. He's still doing the work. And He's not finished.**
