At First Castroville. we are discovering what it looks like to Reframe ourselves, family, legacy, and marriages in the image of Christ. Simply put, if we place Jesus in the center of our lives, the ripple effect will change everything. Jesus makes life better. As we continue through this year, we are adding discussion guides for you to use (hopefully with a small group) and hope that Jesus uses this emphasis to Reframe you!
Reframe Me: February 25- March 24
We know the gospel changes us when we accept Jesus and we have life with God forever. Believing in Jesus makes life better. But how does that change us? And how can following Jesus change every area of our lives and change everything about us?
The greatest obstacle that we have to this is ME. Not me, YOU. The greatest obstacle to this is you. If we are to discover the greatest critic in our lives, so often they are the ones staring back at us when we look in the mirror. The person who has been with you for every bad choice you’ve made is you. The person who you most want to change, but you feel absolutely powerless to change. It’s you. So we want to challenge to begin a journey of changing your perspective, of dropping the things that you think, and bringing some things into focus. Let’s reframe me.
We believe that every person will be better when they learn to put Jesus as center.
