Established in the 1950’s, FBC-Castroville has seen tremendous growth in the past years.  From young to young at heart, our congregation continues to expand and reach others for Christ in our surrounding communities.  Average Sunday attendance ranges from 250 to 350.

Located just 20 minutes from San Antonio, Castroville is nestled in the Medina River Valley.  Steeped in tradition and heritage, it was founded in 1844 by Henri Castro and families from Alsace, a region of France, who colonized the town on a land grant along the Medina River.  Castroville is a historic community and continues to preserve and showcase the unique Alsatian architecture of the many historic homes and sites throughout the city.
