Deb Torres

Deb is proud to say she grew up as a Navy brat. She and her brother were born on the Island of Bermuda and the family lived in Rhode Island, Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico and Virginia. When her Dad retired in 1974, he moved the family to Laramie, Wyoming. Deb graduated in 1975 from Laramie Senior High. After 7 years in Wyoming she left for Texas where her parents had moved a year prior.
Deb began a career in banking in 1980 that lasted for 20 years. During that first year, she met her future husband Ray, a San Antonio police officer, and married him in 1987. They are blessed with two awesome children, Hillary and Tyler. The Family moved to Castroville in 1997 to get established in the community and oversee the building of their home. Debbie began working for the Medina Valley School District as a substitute and later became the Librarian for one of the three elementary school campuses. After 11 years she thought she would retire along with Ray but was given an opportunity to work part-time for our church and is thrilled to say she is here today.
